Jah's Almenach uses the cycle of 7's from creation.
|
All the days in a common year equal 364 days or 52 weeks exactly.
7 x 52 = 364
In a Minor Sabbatical year the year has 53 weeks with 371 days in the year.
A Major Sabbatical year has 54 weeks or 378 days in a year.
|
There are 12 months in a year at all times. There is one 28-day month and the rest are 30 and 31-day months.
In a minor sabbatical year the last month has 37 days (an extra 7 days) and in a Major Sabbatical year there is 44 days (an extra 14 days).
|
A Common year is 12 months. Every new year whether common or sabbatical begins on the 1st day of the week and ends on the 7th day of the week.
Sabbatical Years occur every 7th year as Scripture states.
|
There is a 28-year cycle with 4 Sabbatical years every 7th year.
(7 x 4 = 28)
So every 28 years Jah's Almenach (Calendar) repeats or resets itself.
|
Lunar Calendar
or so-called Hebrew calendar uses the lunar cycle for months upon the sighting of the crescent lunah (moon).
|
354-383 days in a year.
When a year in this calendar has 12 months there is 354 days but when it has 13 months (every 3rd year) it can range from 380-383 days in a year.
These years cannot be divisible by 7 evenly at all.
|
There is 12 or 13 months in a luni-solar year.
The 13-month year occurs every 3rd year.
Scripture states there is only 12 months in a year
|
Every 3rd year there is 13 months (not in the Scriptures). A common year has 12 months.
Every new year for this calendar can start on any day of the week and it the beginning and end of the years move throughout the weekly cycle.
|
There is a 19-year cycle of 7 leap years every 3rd year with 13 months.
So every 19 years this calendar repeats or resets itself.
|
Solar Calendar
Gregorian or Julian calendar using the solar cycle. (It is not really solar but it is based on numerical counting. It is called "solar" to deceive.
|
365 - 366 days in a year.
A common year has 365 days in a year and a leap year has 366 days.
7 is not divisible into 365 evenly nor 366.
|
12 months in a year at all times.
Years have 28, 30 or 31 day months.
|
Every 4th year is a leap year of 366 days.
(Leap years are not in Scripture).
The new year can begin on any day of the week and end on any day.
|
There is a 28-year cycle with 7 leap years every 4th year.
So every 28 years this calendar repeats or resets itself.
This calendar is a mimic of Jah's Almenach and is the closest to it compared to the lunar or luni-solar calendars.
