The Set Feasts of Leviticus 23
Leviticust 23 and the Set Feast Dates of Jah
Greetings to All,
If you are a believer in the Messiah and endeavour to keep the feasts and are familiar with Leviticus 23 then this study will open your eyes (with Jah's Will) to things you never saw before and it will demonstrate to us that Jah wants us to OBEY HIS WORDS...I pray that this article's manifestation of the Holy Spirit at work using the Scriptures will guide you.....
If you consider yourself a worshipper of the Abbah and the Ben then read all of this post with an open mind and I pray that you will be greatly enlightened and hopefully it will lead us to an understanding that it's us that's the cause of our confused ways because we don't follow every WORD. Please Study the charts carefully and review the Scriptures quoted.
Many of us believers are well acquainted with Leviticus 23; I refer to it as the Feasts of Jah chapter. In this chapter we are given all the Feasts of Jah in their order beginning from the first Holy Day of the Year, the 7th day Sabbath until the last Holy Day of the year the 8th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. This chapter indeed lets us know that the Feasts listed in it belong to Jah the Maker of the Universe.
What I have discovered through these words is that Jah has given us some key information regarding His Feasts in regards to the times, dates and days that these feasts occur on. In other words, Jah has given us Scriptural anchors in this chapter that will help us to learn about His Set dates on His Calendar.
We'll begin by starting at verse 1 and quote all of Leviticus 23 going through it and commenting with charts to attempt to enlighten and bring Jah's Words into the open and show the basic fundamentals of His Almanac (Calendar).
Let me state that this article will attempt to show that Jah's feasts are fixed on the same days of the 7-day weekly cycle forever, and Leviticus 23 is the proof beyond the shadow of doubt.
In other words, hopefully this treatise will establish amongst the faithfully obedient what days of the week the feasts MUST fall on.
Some fundamentals of Jah's calendar are:
A Scriptural common year has 364 days in a year, which is 52 Sabbaths. 52 x 7= 364
Every 7th year is a Sabbatical year; there aren't intercalary months or leap years.
The Scriptural Year is governed by the 7-day Weekly cycle in conjunction with sun, which is a sign of years.
The lunar cycle doesn't dictate what a Scriptural month is.
The Feasts don't move they are set.
That last point is the main focus here and it's good to remember that Jah's feasts don't wander within the weekly cycle and that they are fixed or Scripturally speaking they are “SET”…which means they don't move around and occur on different dates or days of the week…
Numbers 29:39 - These things ye shall do unto JAH in your set feasts, beside your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meat offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.
Why is this important? Or does this understanding really matter? Well after reading this treatise the reader should come away with the understanding that:
A Scriptural Year has to begin on the 1st day of the week.
Therefore a Scriptural year ends on the 7th day Sabbath, also
You will know for a surety that the all the feasts begin and end on the same days of the week forever…
There are 7 Annual Holy Feasts. They are:
The Passover and Unleavened Bread Week (They are one and the same feast)
The Waving of the Sheaf
The Feast of Firstfruits or Feast of Weeks also called Pentecost
The Memorial of Trumpets
The Day of Atonement
The Feast of Tabernacles
The 8th Day also called The Last Great Day
One Scriptural fundamental you can be sure to impress on your mind is that the foundation of time is reserved in the 7-day weekly cycle. As a great example let us look at the 7th day Sabbath that was established at the Creation.
In order for us to understand this notion of when the first day of the first month Abib begins on we need to look at the foundation of creation. In Genesis 1:5 we can understand that the first day of creation was also the first day of the first month and obviously the firs day of the First year and it occurred on the first day of the week.
Genesis 1:5 - [5] And JAH called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
In Leviticus 23 we learn that JAH is listing all His Feasts in order beginning from the first feast of the year, which is the Sabbath. I always use to wonder why the 7th day Sabbath was listed in this chapter first but now JAH has shown us why; and with the Help of Jah's Spirit and His Words He has BLESSED us by giving us His Calendar to share with the world.
The reason why the 7th day Sabbath is listed in Leviticus 23 first is because this is the first Holy Day Convocation of the year. In other words, it should be obvious that the first feast of the New Year that comes in timely order should be the 7th day Sabbath, and in saying that it lets us know that the beginning of Abib HAS TO ALWAYS START ON THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK as you will see in this document...
…If you start Abib on any other day you are assuredly NOT OBEYING JAH'S WORDS as we are commanded and therefore a lunar calendar can't be used to Honour Jah's Holy Times because when you observe a lunar calendar or lunar year the beginning of Abib will start on various days of the week throughout time...and this lesson will PROVE WHY that can't be.
Firstly, this lesson will conclude that any feasts or Holy Days that don't begin on the days listed in the Scriptures are unscriptural and false and that we of Zion have the True Scriptural calendar and hopefully this will ignite a ZEAL to learn the truth about Jah's Times ....this is our blessing that we have endeavoured to share over the years.
I wont be speaking about what time of year or seasons the feasts should be kept at but I'll focus on the days of the week that these feasts MUST OCCUR on within their months and drive home the point that JAH'S Appointments are fixed...
...please study this article and review the charts with patience and diligence then get back to me...
The very first verse of Leviticus 23 is vital because it lets us know that JAH spoke these words, in other words, these are COMMANDS TO OBEY…..
Another thing to note is that the Sabbath spoken of in Leviticus 23:3 is the key to understanding the rest of the feasts because it sets the pattern and unlocks the mystery of the Feast dates and days of which they fall on.
Ok, here is the beginning of the first feasts that commence in the month Abib, which is the first Festive month of the Year. You will notice that all these Feasts are based upon counting and calculations and have nothing to do with the observation of the moon in any way or fashion....we should observe Jah's Words and follow them and not observe the waxing and waning of the lunah (moon)....that was never commanded....let us begin from verse 1…
Leviticus 23 verses 1-3 - The Sabbath
[1] And Jah spake unto Moshea, saying, [2] Speak unto the children of Jahzrael, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of Jah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts. [3] Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of Jah in all your dwellings.
Now notice that Jah said “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest”. So if we begin counting from the first day of the week, we will see that the 7th day Sabbath is the first Holy Day of the year, which is the 7th day of Abib in this account in Leviticus 23.
I repeat, this feast is the first feast of the year and it occurs on the 7th day of the first month and repeats itself weekly throughout the year.
So in verse three we have 6 days of work and on the 7th is the Sabbath of Rest, so if we were to use this opening of Leviticus 23 as the first week of Abib, we can come to understand that Abib 7 logically should occur on the Seventh day of the Week. Jah is right here showing us His count and we should Obey Him....take note.

Bear in mind that this Sabbath observance has nothing to do with the Sun or the moon but is a MATHEMATICAL COUNT that sets our foundation. It is the same foundation from creation we spoke of earlier that shows us that Jah was counting days, and not using the sun or moon for this count (read Genesis 1)...
So from the above table and using our mind we can see that Abib 1 occurs on the first day of the week and Abib 7 on the 7th day of the week - doesn't that appear logical and perfect?
Now if we can understand that Abib starts on the first day of the week, then we can determine that the Scriptural year ends on the 7th day of the week, are you with me? Think about it.
Leviticus 23:4-7
The Passover and Unleavened Bread Feast
[ 4] These are the feasts of Jah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.[ 5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Jah's passover. [ 6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Jah: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. [ 7] In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. [ 8] But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
Notice in verse 7 that it says “First day”, this is vital because this 1st day mentioned here is referring to the 1st day of the Feast which is also the 1st day of the week as you will see!
The Passover occurs at the 14th month at even. Now this is not the beginning of the 14th day but is the end of the 14th.
But some people will ask:
When is the evening of the 14th Abib?
Is it the end of the 13th Abib? Or is it the end of the 14th Abib?
These questions are not as odd as may first appear, because a day according to the scriptural way of reckoning begins and ends in the evening and not at midnight as in the popular civil calendar. Therefore the evening of the 14th Abib could be taken to mean:
The evening which begins the 14th Abib; that is at the end of the 13th
Or the evening which ends the 14th Abib; that is the beginning of the 15th.
In Genesis chapter 1 the first style of reckoning is used, for the record reads:
The evening and the morning were the first day, ... the evening and the morning were the second day... the evening and the morning were the third day...
You will notice in that chapter that the `evening,' the dark part of a day, came first: it started the day. The `morning' then followed. It would be incorrect, however, to conclude that in Scripture this is the only style of reckoning a day; because elsewhere we note that the `evening' of a day can also mean the `end of the day.'
For example in Leviticus 23:32 the specifications for the Day of Atonement (10th Ethanim) are given. Notice how the 10th day is said to begin at the even (end) of the 9th day.
It shall be unto you a Sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your Sabbath
Obviously in this passage concerning the Day of Atonement (which is the 10th of Ethanim) the phrase `ninth day of the month at even' means the `end' of the 9th day not its beginning. In other words the Day of Atonement begins in the evening (end) of the 9th day and continues to the evening (end) of the 10th day.
This style of reckoning the evening as the `end of a day' differs from the one used in Genesis chapter 1, so we must use caution when concluding the notion of what the evening is, because the translators have obscured the simplicity of Jah's day reckoning.
Another strong example where the evening of a day means its `end' and not its beginning is found in:
Exodus 12:18-19 - In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. Seven days there shall be no leaven found in your houses.
In this passage (Ex. 12:18), like the one concerning the Day of Atonement, the term `even' obviously refers to the end of the day and not to its beginning. Why do I say “obviously”?
The answer is, because the 21st of Abib is included as one of the days of unleavened bread. It is the last day of unleavened bread; so it must be included in that seven-day count. You will soon see clearly that the 21st of Abib is also the 7th day of the week, which is the Sabbath.
In other words, if we were to say that the end of the 15th day, which is the beginning of the 16th day is the first day of unleavened bread, then that will have the last day of unleavened bread being on the 22nd day of Abib. And the Scripture was very clear that it was the 21st of Abib that was the last day of Unleavened bread.
So slowly count with me……
the 15th is day 1, - 16th day 2, - 17th day 3, - 18th day 4, - 19th day 5, - 20th day 6, - 21st day 7
We don't say:
the 14th is day 1, - 15th day 2, - 16th day 3, - 17th day 4, - 18th day 5, - 19th day 6, - 20th day 7 because you must include the ` one and twentieth day' (21st ) as the 7th day….
The `even' in this instance must therefore mean the end of 21st Abib and not its beginning. Thus the seven days of unleavened bread are to begin at the evening or end of the 14th Abib, which is the beginning of the 15th day, and continue in unbroken succession until the evening or end of the 21st Abib.
You will soon see that the 7th of Abib is the Seventh day Sabbath and that the 14th of Abib is also a 7th day Sabbath.
If the word `even' in the previous Scripture passage were taken to mean the beginning of the day, as reckoned in Genesis, then the seven days of unleavened bread would begin at the end of the 13th Abib and terminate seven days later at the end of the 20th Abib. This would effectively exclude the 21st Abib as a day of unleavened bread: which is unacceptable; because we know from the Scripture quoted above and from Lev.23:6-8 that the 21st Abib is the last day of unleavened bread; so it must be included in the seven day count.
Therefore, to include the 21st Abib in the seven-day count, one must begin counting - as directed - from the end of the 14th Abib. No other sensible conclusion is possible - none.
Many people want to say that the 14th of Abib is the Passover Feast and the 15th day of Abib is the beginning of the Unleavened Bread feast to make it look like they are 2 different feasts, when the truth is they are one and the same. Notice that Unleavened Bread is to begin at the evening of the 14th and that Passover starts the same time.
Exodus 12:18-19 - 18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Jahzrael, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
Leviticus 23:5 - In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is JAH'S Passover.
What day did these Scripture say the Unleavened Bread began at?…. on the fourteenth day of the month at even, and when did it say the Passover began at?…. on the fourteenth day of the month at even……Both are one and the same feast….
The Passover begins at the evening of the 14th, which is the beginning of the 15th, which is also the first day of unleavened bread. Bear in mind that on the first day of Passover it was to be eaten at that time with Unleavened Bread, and this is because the Passover Meal is also the First day of Unleavened Bread.
Notice in the next verse that the lamb's flesh was to be eaten that night after the 14th at even, which is the beginning of the 15th with Unleavened bread.
Exodus 12:8 - And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
As well, the first day of unleavened bread which is also the Passover, was the SELFSAME DAY that Jah brought Israel out of Egypt…
Exodus 12:17 - And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
Notice the words “Selfsame day have I brought your armies out”……The night when the Passover is eaten is also the first day of Unleavened bread. That is when Jah brought Jahzrael out of Egypt and that's why the Passover was to be eaten with UNLEAVENED BREAD.
Not enough proof; Well lets recap what Exodus 12:18 says again…
Exodus 12:18 - In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
Did you notice that at the ending of the 14th day of the month we are COMMANDED to eat unleavened bread until the 21st? This is very crucial because as I said before, many people want to separate this Holy festive time into 2 different feasts, when they are one and the same.
I repeat, at the end of the 14th is the beginning of the 15th which is the day you PREPARE the lamb to be eaten…..you eat the Passover on the 15th day before midnight….nothing is done within the 24 hours of the 14th day, it is the end of the 14th day which is the beginning of the 15th day, which is called “the day of preparation!”
To further drive home the point that Passover and Unleavened bread are one and the same feast lets look in the book of Ezekiel where we read that the Passover is a feast of seven days, which lets us know that the Passover and Unleavened Bread are one and the same feasts…pay attention that the Scripture will show you that “Passover is a feast of seven days when unleavened bread should be eaten”…
Ezekiel 45:21 - In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
In view of these facts we may affirm that the `evening of the 14th Abib' is the end of that day and the beginning of the 15th; just as surely as we can affirm that the evening of the 9th Ethanim is the end of the 9th; and the evening of the 21st Abib is the end of the 21st.
The Passover service, in other words, should be held after the evening that ends the 14th Abib, which is the 7th day of the week. This same evening ushers in the first day of unleavened bread, which is also the first day of the week. So we can say that the Passover is eaten on the 15th of Abib because the lamb was kept from the 10th day of Abib until the 14th at even and then was slain in the night of the 15th.
Here is further proof of this fact from the New Testament, of which Jah's Spokesman the “true law keeper”, Jahoshuwah the Messijah kept exactly like the Torah stated. Notice how the following Scriptures are in complete harmony with the Scriptures from the Torah. There is no falsifying of the pens in this situation, only a revelation of the Truth.
Matt.26:17: Now the first day of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jahshuwah saying unto Him ` Where wilt thou that we prepare the Passover?
Mark 14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread when they killed the Passover.
Luke 22:7 Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the Passover must be killed.
These texts plainly state that the Saviour and his disciples kept that memorable Passover on the evening, which simultaneously ushered in the first day of unleavened bread. Their actions verify the fact that the Passover service is kept at the evening or end of the 14th Abib, because that is the evening, which ushers in the first day of unleavened bread. The above texts could not possibly be referring to the end of the 13th Abib.
So we can see that the apostles and the Messijah ate the Passover on the night of the 15th day before midnight or the beginning part of the 24-hour period. You have the feast night and the feast day, 12 hours each totalling 24 hours.
The Saviour had to fulfill the law by partaking of the Passover. He also instituted the NEW emblems at that time, letting us know when it should be observed. How can the Messijah eat the Passover and Be killed at the same time? Does that make any sense? It should be obvious that He can't eat it and be crucified at the same time.
Jahshuwah had to be crucified within the same time period or 24 hours of the Preparation Day which is the first day of Passover and Unleavened Bread. I repeat He can't eat it and die at the same minute or hour, which should be understood. As long as He died within the 24 hours of the Passover then He fulfills it.
The First day of Passover has various names and functions:
The Feast of Passover
The Feast of Unleavened Bread
The Preparation Day
It is a HIGH day
It is an annual Sabbath day, and High Sabbath day (nothing to do with the 7th day Sabbath).
Anyone who says they are two different feasts is in err, plain and simple, and they should correct themselves instead of teaching others to break Jah's commandments. Yes we may all be in err in various areas but once we are corrected lets walk in that correction.
Let's get back to the focus of Leviticus 23….
Let me remind the reader that 7 days from Abib 7, which is the Sabbath, is Abib 14. So in saying that Abib 14th is a Sabbath, it lets us know that the Passover occurs at the end of the Sabbath because Jah has established His Sabbath as the 7th day and it wont conflict with the feasts of this month. Also many other Scriptures were shown to prove this but this study of Leviticus 23 demonstrates this count clearly.
[4] These are the feasts of Jah, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.[5] In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is Jah's passover. [6] And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto Jah: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread. [7] In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. [8] But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jah seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
So lets count from the beginning. Abib 7 is the Sabbath, and 7 days later, which is the 14th, must also be the 7th day Sabbath (7+7=14). Now the 15th of Abib logically occurs after the 14th of which we can see is the Sabbath, so the 15th of Abib according to Leviticus 23 is the first day of the Week.

Now lets briefly recap: The 7th day Sabbath spoken of in verse 3 is also the 7th of Abib and the 14th of Abib is also a Sabbath and the 15th of Abib is the 1st day of the weekly cycle. No other calculations can be considered knowing that Jah had used the Sabbath as His mark for the count. This count is very simple that even a child can do it.....I love Jah's simplicity!
Lets move on…
Leviticus 23:9-14
The Waving of the Sheaf Statute
[ 9] And Jah spake unto Moshea, saying, [ 10] Speak unto the children of Jahzrael, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: [ 11] And he shall wave the sheaf before Jah, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. [ 12] And ye shall offer that day when ye wave the sheaf an he lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering unto Jah. [ 13] And the meat offering thereof shall be two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto Jah for a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof shall be of wine, the fourth part of an hin. [ 14] And ye shall eat neither bread, nor parched corn, nor green ears, until the selfsame day that ye have brought an offering unto your Maker: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
So as we move in progression, the waving of the Sheaf occurs on the day after the Sabbath. That Sabbath is the 7th day Sabbath, which is also the 7th day of Passover and Unleavened Bread. So in other words, the Sheaf wave offering occurs on the 1st day of the week, which is the morrow after the Sabbath……..so lets look at how hour table is now progressing.

Hopefully this count will enable this understanding to be a bit more clear. Let us go to the count to the next feast which is the Feast of Weeks or Feast of Firstfruits otherwise known as Pentecost and please notice the word “Count” because Jah strictly COMMANDED us to count.
Leviticus 23:15-22
The Feast of First Fruits or Feast of Weeks or Pentecost
[ 15] And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: [ 16] Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye NUMBER fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto Jah. [ 17] Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth deals: they shall be of fine flour; they shall be baken with leaven; they are the firstfruits unto Jah. [ 18] And ye shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, and one young bullock, and two rams: they shall be for a burnt offering unto Jah, with their meat offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of sweet savour unto Jah. [ 19] Then ye shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. [ 20] And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before Jah, with the two lambs: they shall be holy to Jah for the priest. [ 21] And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. [ 22] And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not make clean riddance of the corners of thy field when thou reapest, neither shalt thou gather any gleaning of thy harvest: thou shalt leave them unto the poor, and to the stranger: I am Jah your Maker.
So as we can see we are COMMANDED to count 7 SABBATHS to the Feast of Weeks that is why it's called the Feast of Weeks because it counts 7 complete weeks or 7 Sabbaths to this feast .
As well in verse 16 we can see that the “morrow AFTER the Seventh Sabbath” is the feast and it would number 50 days (hence Pente cost, which means 50th day) from the waving of the Sheaf which as we know was the day after the 7th day of Unleavened Bread (7th day Sabbath). The Sheaf is upon the first day of the week.
Jah is so perfect and the cycle of Sevens that He uses can't miss. The cycle of sevens is perfectly set out and is highly compatible with Jah's Creation week and Seventh day Sabbath. Lets take a look at the table to establish the Count to Firstfruits.
The count in the chart begins from the green area or the Sheaf and the daily count to the 50th day is all in green.

I hope this example can shed light on the feasts and their dates and also lead to a more better understanding of how Jah COMMANDS us to COUNT to figure out when the feasts occur….now that we have covered the FIRST seasonal Feasts that begin in Abib lets move unto the second half of the feasts which occurs in the 7th month of the year known as Ethanim.
Leviticus 23:23-25
The Feast of Trumpets, The First Day of the Seventh Month, Ethanim
What is very very vital to know is that Jah's cycle of sevens if important. So to set the foundation for the 7th month Ethanim let me remind the reader that just as the Sabbath occurs on the 7th day so also does the 7th month!! In other words, the 7th month Ethanim is the only month that begins on the 7th day of the week!!
[ 23] And Jah spake unto Moshea, saying, [ 24] Speak unto the children of Jahzrael, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation. [ 25] Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jah.
So as you can see the first day of the Seventh month is a Sabbath, the 7th day Sabbath. Let me use a table to visualize this.

Ethanim 1
The Feast of
Trumpets
Lev. 23:24
|
In regards to this first day of Ethanim, we can recall when Joshua son of Nun and the Jahzraelites conquered Jericho. They circled the city for 6 days and on the 7th day they circled it 7 times before the walls collapsed. The reason I mention this is because it gives us a visual of this time frame and the use of the trumpets to collapse the walls symbolizes the trumpets feast.
As I said, the 7th month is the only month that begins on the 7th day of the week and this observation of Jah's words has nothing to do with looking at the moon or any of the host of heaven. Now lets continue this count in Leviticus and work out the rest of the feasts….
Leviticus 23:26-32
The Day of Atonement
[ 26] And Jah spake unto Moses, saying, [ 27] Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto Jah. [ 28] And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before Jah your Maker. [ 29] For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people. [ 30] And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people. [ 31] Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. [ 32] It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
This day of Atonement occurs on the tenth day of the 7th month Ethanim. Please note that this day begins at the end of the 9th day which is the beginning of the 10th day. So as we have been doing lets continue with our table of the 7th month.

So as we can see, we can't go wrong as to what day of the week these events occurred, and bear in mind that Leviticus 23 is fixed, no one can't change it. If you really obey Jah's words then you would COUNT as He instructed us to. So the second day of the week is when the day of Atonement occurs and we know this because the 7th month begins on the 7th day of the week and we are able to count from there.
Let me move on to the last two feasts the Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth day, which is the 8th day of Tabernacles.
Leviticus 23:33-43
The Feast of Tabernacles and the Eighth Day
[ 33] And Jah spake unto Moshea, saying, [ 34] Speak unto the children of Jahzrael, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Jah.[ 35] On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein. [ 36] Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jah: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jah: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein. [ 37] These are the feasts of Jah, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire unto Jah, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, every thing upon his day: [ 38] Beside the sabbaths of Jah, and beside your gifts, and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings, which ye give unto Jah. [ 39] Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Jah seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath. [ 40] And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jah your Maker seven days. [ 41] And ye shall keep it a feast unto Jah seven days in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye shall celebrate it in the seventh month. [ 42] Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are Jahzraelites born shall dwell in booths: [ 43] That your generations may know that I made the children of Jahzrael to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jah your Maker. [44] And Moses declared unto the children of Jahzrael the feasts of Jah.

Now you must have noticed in verse 33 that it said “The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days” and you may be wondering why the chart above shows that the feast of Tabernacles begins on the 16th day.
We can see that this 7th month begins on the 7th day and using our count we get the 15th day to fall on the Sabbath. However just as the Passover occurs after the 14th day even so Tabernacles begins after the 15th day, Why?
Well just as the Passover week begins on the first day of the week and just as the Creation week begins on the first day of the Week, even so this Tabernacles follows that Creation week pattern and begins on the first day of the week as well!!
But the proof comes in these very next verses which will show us that the 8th day of Tabernacles falls on the 23rd day of the 7th month. And in stating that, it assures us that Tabernacles occurs on the first day of the week just by simply “counting” again.
1 Kings 8:2, 65-66 - [ 2] And all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto king Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month………
[ 65] And at that time Solomon held a feast, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt, before JAH our Maker, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.[ 66] On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that JAH had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people.
Now notice that the previous verses let us know that this event occurred in the 7th month and that Solomon kept an extra 7 days after the ending of Tabernacles. But notice in verse 66 that he sent the people away on the 8th day….[66] On the eighth day he sent the people away:
This is vital because as we will see in the very next verses, this 8th day occurred on the 23rd day of the 7th month. The following verses are the same account of Solomon's dedication of the temple. Bear in mind that the book of the Kings and the books of the Chronicles are records based off of the same events….
2 Chronicles 7:7-10 - [ 8] Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.[ 9] And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days. [ 10] And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that JAH had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
So when we put line upon line we see that on the 8th day:
On the eighth day he sent the people away: and they blessed the king, and went unto their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that JAH had done for David his servant, and for Israel his people. (1 Kings 8:66)
And the 8th day is the 23rd:
[ 10] And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that JAH had shewed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people. (2 Chronicles 7:10)
Compare the language of these 2 verses and you will see they are the same event. Read the previous yellow highlights and you will see the comparison, he who has eyes let him see the words of Jah.
So here is the count for Tabernacles using the verses above to show how this feast occurs.
The green fonts now represent the 14 days of Solomon's Dedication and how the first 8 days are the Feast of Tabernacles and the remaining days were the rest of the Dedication. Notice that 23rd occurs on the first day of the Week, which is the Last Great Day of the Tabernacles Feast…
