The Moon Gives Light
For proof that the moon gives its own light read these few verses...Notice in this next verse that Jah made TWO GREAT LIGHTS and not One...
Genesis 1:16 - [16] And Jah made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
So this verse is clear that Jah made two lights, and that the lunah (moon) doesn't reflect light but is a light of its own....but there is some more Scriptural support for this notion....
Isaiah 13:10 - [10] For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
Ezekiel 32:7 - [7] And when I shall put thee out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.
There are many more Scriptures speaking about the luna GIVING HER LIGHT.
And here is the final verse that should set the picture straight about the moon...
1 Corinthians 15:41 - [41] There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
In regards to the previous verse we can see that the sun has its own glory and the moon and stars have their own differing glories...
