The Memorial of the Passover
The Gentile-Christians have caused many people in the world to believe that the Adonay's supper is to be taken `often', instead of yearly. They do this by inserting the word “often” in 1 Corinthians 11:25-26.
In the four Jahspel's (Gospels) where Jahoshuwah was instituting the New Covenant Passover supper He never used the word “often” (Matt. 26:26-28; Mark 14:22-24; Luke 22:15-20; John 13:1-4). The Adonay Jahshewah lets us know that the Jahzarenes (Nazarenes or Saints) should partake of the Passover supper in remembrance of Him (Luke 22:19). As you know, memorials are celebrated annually, once a year, on the anniversary of the events commemorated.
Some may question what Paul (Saul) meant in verses 27-29, in his first epistle to the Corinthians in chapter 11. The apostle is not speaking about a Jahzarene (Saint) being worthy or unworthy to partake of the Passover supper. He is speaking of the manner in which it is done. We can take it unworthily if we partake of it in the wrong manner. Once we learn the truth about its observance, and yet take it at any other time than when JAH appointed, then we are condemned as taking it unworthily.
The Almighty JAH gave Jahzrael (Israel) His Almenach (Calendar) that they may observe His festivals on the days that He appointed (Exo. 12:1-2, 6; 23:14-17; Num. 9:1-14; 29:39). The first and second months of JAH'S Almenach are almost identical, in the sense that they both begin on the first day of the week. So if a man or woman were to be unclean and could not keep the Passover in the first month, they are allowed to keep it in the second month according to “all the ordinances of the Passover” (Num. 9:6-13). The 15th day of the first month is the 1st day (Sunday) of the week and the 15th day of the second month also falls on the 1st day of the week.
JAH'S Almenach is invariable, and His festivals are set (fixed) on His Almenach forever (Numbers 29:39; 1 Chronicles 23:31; 2 Chronicles 31:3; Ezra 3:5; Nehemiah 10:33).
All the heathenistic calendars and festivals in the world are abominations in JAH'S sight. They support elemental or creation worship, and they are called “months, times and years” (Gal. 4:8-11). The Almighty JAH gives us an understanding that we cannot use heathen customs to worship Him because they are an abomination in His sight (Deut. 12:30-31). The children of Jahzrael were warned not to add or diminish from JAH'S commandments. That warning is still in effect today, and it will be in effect forever (Deut. 12:32).
